Dr. D. Thenmozhi is an Associate Professor in the Department of Computer Science and Engineering at SSN College of Engineering, Chennai, where she has been a dedicated faculty member since November 2000. With 27 years of teaching and research experience, she brings both academic depth and applied expertise to her field. She holds a B.E. in Computer Science Engineering from Madras University, an M.E. from Anna University, and a Ph.D. in Natural Language Processing also from Anna University, Chennai. Her research spans Natural Language Processing, Machine Learning, and Data Science, and she is an active member of the Machine Learning Research Group at SSN. Over the course of her careers, she has published more than 90 research papers across international journals and conferences, authored 3 books, and filed 2 patents. She currently guides 6 Ph.D. scholars, shaping the next generation of researchers in her field. She has received research grants from the Department of Science and Technology (DST) totalling Rs. 52 Lakhs across two funded projects, reflecting the national recognition of her work. She also serves as Associate Editor for the ACM TALLIP journal and as Guest Editor for special issues of TALLIP and CSL journals. A seven-time recipient of the Best Teacher Award at SSN Institutions, she is as celebrated in the classroom as she is in research.
